Being a great place to stay in an unrivaled location, you can explore the heart of the Snowdonia peaks without having to get in your car, or travelling very far.

Snowdon, Moel Hebog, Yr Aran, Y Lliwedd, Cnicht and the Moelwynion are within easy reach, either on foot for the fittest among you, or by short car journey. All of the classic peaks of the Snowdon range, the Glyders and the Carneddau are just minutes away.

There are some fantastic wild camping spots for expeditions within half an hour and some challenging ground for navigation practice. Photographic opportunities abound and the region is packed with sites of archaeological and scientific interest.
